1. Automatic Graphic Nesting Function to Effectively Improve Material Utilization

The IGEMS software can automatically and efficiently arrange different parts on a sheet, effectively reducing material waste. It supports nesting of multiple parts and can automatically place parts into empty areas such as holes within larger parts.

2. Automatic Nesting on Remnant Materials

IGEMS's vision tool uses a camera to scan the remaining area of a sheet. The system directly generates a drawing of the remaining material with an accuracy of up to ±0.5 mm. It then automatically arranges the shapes to be cut in an optimized layout within the generated graphic, allowing for direct cutting. This eliminates the need for manual measurement, drawing, and adjustment of tool coordinates.

3. Texture Matching Function for Stone and Ceramic Boards

The system first scans textured using a camera. The pattern matching function provides a method to match the texture of any stone or ceramic board with your design.

 

Whether it is a kitchen countertop or a floor pattern, the software provides the tools to accomplish this task. You can match the pattern by clicking and dragging, or by using the well-known "automatic nesting" function. Drag the elements below to corresponding positions to match the intended design (click to rotate). The drawing can then be directly completed for cutting.

 

 

4. Automatically Generates Optimized Cutting Paths

Based on parameters such as workpiece thickness and contour shape, the software automatically generates efficient tool paths. By optimizing tool head movement speed and piercing time, IGEMS significantly reduces unnecessary machine idle time, thereby increasing output per unit time, significantly improving cutting efficiency, and reducing processing time. It can also generate various cutting paths to prevent small parts from detaching.

5. 2D Cutting Simulation and Cutting Path Planning

Before actual cutting, IGEMS allows for virtual testing of cutting paths. During this process, cutting parameters can be fine-tuned, and the rationality of part nesting can be checked. This ensures that the first cut achieves the desired result, significantly reducing scrap rates and material waste, and ensuring the final outcome meets expectations.

6. Built-in Professional Material Database

IGEMS comes preloaded with cutting parameters for a wide range of materials, including stainless steel, aluminum, stone, glass, and composites. New operators can achieve stable and reliable cutting results without a lengthy trial-and-error process, greatly reducing training costs and the entry barrier.

7. 2D Angled Cutting with 3D Simulation

IGEMS supports complete simulation of cutting motion in a 3D model format. Program directly on the 3D model and visualize every tool path. During the simulation, the system automatically performs collision detection, identifying potential collision risks between the cutting head and the workpiece, fixture, or other components before actual cutting, thus avoiding equipment damage and material waste. It also allows observation of the cutting process, checking nesting rationality, and fine-tuning cutting parameters to ensure optimal results.

8. True Vertical Cutting Function

IGEMS can automatically adjust cutting speed and the swing angle of the cutting head to compensate for taper deviation caused by the waterjet, ensuring perpendicularity of the cut surface. It also supports creating angled 3D geometries for precise bevel cutting.

3D-5X Functions:

1. 3D Model Import and Support

IGEMS 3D Format Compatibility: Perfectly supports mainstream 3D file formats such as STEP, IGES, and STL. Models from professional 3D software like Inventor, SolidWorks, and SolidEdge can be opened directly.

 

Direct Programming: Users can program directly on the 3D model, eliminating the need to convert 3D parts into 2D drawings before processing, thus simplifying the workflow.

2. 3D Toolpath Generation

Automatic Path Planning: After importing a 3D model, IGEMS can directly place toolpaths on the model contours, automatically generating 3D machining trajectories suitable for waterjet cutting.

 

5-Axis Cutting Support: Supports 5-axis bevel cutting, including taper compensation. It can handle complex, angled 3D parts such as bevels and weld preps.
