Limitation / Compatibility Note:

Maintenance:

• Inspection: During sealing head overhaul, inspect the poppet retainer for signs of wear, scoring, deformation, or corrosion. Check the internal bore where the poppet slides for any damage

• Replacement Criteria: Replace if any visible wear, scoring, or deformation is detected. Worn retainers can cause poppet misalignment, leading to poor sealing and pressure loss

• Torque Compliance: When installing, use a flat blade screwdriver to tighten the poppet retainer to torque specifications in the equipment service manual 

• Movement Verification: After installation, ensure the poppet moves freely and the poppet retainer is seated against the sealing head 

• Full Depressurization: Always fully depressurize both the hydraulic system and the high-pressure water system before removing or servicing the poppet retainer. Follow lockout/tagout procedures

• Set Replacement: When servicing the inlet check valve, it is recommended to replace the inlet poppet (05144662 or 10107894) simultaneously with the poppet retainer for optimal performance
